DESSERT: Nestle delight

On 18th October 2020 competition was held in our complex from Nestle as a pre-Durga puja celebration event. It was said we have to use Milkmaid a Nestle product as the main ingredient. Many entrees were there and all gave their 100% to win the competition. As there was no age bar so from 18 to 80 all participated in the event the only condition was that whatever we made it should be innovative and original. I made this dessert named Nestle delight and won the 2nd prize. KOSHA MANGSHO(MUTTON KOSHA)

Mangsho actually means Mutton (Goat meat) and Kosha means Bhuna or gravy which is thoroughly fried in a low flame. Kosha Mangsho or Mutton kosha has a thick gravy and is a little spicy. It is an iconic dish for the Bengalees. It can be served with anything from plain steamed rice. pulao to Pulkas and Parathas. This is my version of Kosha Mangsho and I can assure you that it will taste very good . HOMEMADE NARAM PAKER SANDESH

If Rosogolla is the queen of sweets then Sandesh is the king of Bengalee desert. Sandesh is of various kinds like Kacha Golla or Makha Sandesh, Kora Paker Sandesh, Norom Paker Sandesh, Talsansh, etc. Generally, Sandesh is made mixing Chena(homemade paneer), sugar or Jaggery, and then set in different spaced moulds among them Sankh Sandesh and Aata Sandesh are famous. Bhola Moira aka Bholanath Modok's name is a must mention as he was not only a famous kabiwal (poetry singer) he was famous for making Sandesh like his son-in-law Nobin Chandra Das was famous for inventing spongy Rosogolla. Jhatpat pasta

 INSTANT SPICY PASTA Simple and quick pasta is easy to make and it's delicious and flavourful. Since it is mentioned to be jhatpat or instant recipe I have used a readymade pasta sauce(you can make a pasta sauce also) also used grated cheese so that it melts which making only. Its good for giving in lunch boxes also can be eaten at dinner time.
