LIFESTYLE // IMPORTANCE OF DECLUTTERING.

Why is it so important to declutter your house?

Clutter in the house leads to anxiety and anger issues that can stress you out and affect your relationships. One of my psychologist friends narrated me a story about one of her patient she was treated, that patient was a working middle-aged lady, who claimed herself to be a calm and happy person but of late she is facing a lot of problem at home and also in her work too due to her recent problem of anger, anxiety, and frustration. She was feeling distressed due to all these fights and arguments every day and with anyone and everyone. After a few sittings, her daily activities were figured out, the psychologist suggested her few changes in her lifestyle like making her bed every morning as soon as she woke up, and ensures that the house especially the kitchen, bathroom, and wardrobes in every room was tidy before she left for work. After a month she was a much calmer person.
We live in an extremely stressful society. Most of the time the triggers of our anxiety and rage are unknown to us. The real reason for your anger lies at home – a cluttered house. The sight of an unorganized home like a pile of cloth on the sofa , books scattered here and there, unused pieces of furniture, electronics gadgets, etc causes a sense of heaviness and the brain leads to irritability, anger, and tiredness, all these produce negative energy which also affects the people living with you and your relationship with them. An overloaded wardrobe, kitchen sink full with dishes to be washed, uncleaned floor, all triggers negativity early morning.
CLUTTER IS NOTHING MORE THAN JUST STAGNANT ENERGY.
We Indians are a lot more sentimental than the rest of the world. We are still not comfortable with the concept of USE & THROW. We love to store our old memories and sentiments with overflowing almirahs with unused useless possessions.
Good energy gets stuck due to clutter. energy is meant to flow freely but with clutter, we are producing stagnant, bad energy subconsciously .
Hope now all  of you understood the importance of decluttering your house.
In my next blog, I shall discuss how to declutter the house and workspace. So be with me on the journey of decluttering your house and mind.
