Banana has lots of nutritive value and it is a unique vegetable. Generally, people think raw banana is only for the patient. It is actually a powerhouse of vitamins and minerals. It is a rich source of Vitamin C and B6 along with Potassium and fiber. It accelerates the absorption of essential minerals and nutrition especially Calcium. It may prevent Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer, and Asthma. It also helps with digestive problems and cardiovascular disease. Banana also contains Tryptophan and Amino acid which plays a role in preserving memory and boosting your mood. Banana has twice as many carbohydrates, 5 times more Vitamin A and iron, and 3 times more Phosphorous as apples. Vitamin B6  which is rich in Banana prevents Type 2 diabetes and regulates glucose. Since it is high in iron it controls Haemoglobin. Banana helps in conditions such as Irritable bowel syndrome, constipation as it is rich in fiber. It helps in weight loss since it has lots of fiber it takes more time to digest and that is why one feels fullness and satisfied appetite, your cravings are suppressed and you don't binge on unhealthy foods. So now onwards don't make faces while eating bananas.
I am attaching a simple yet yummy recipe for Banana.
Kababs with Raw Banana:
Prep time: 25 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins (approx)
Serves 10 servings.

Ingredients: 
  • Raw Banana: 3 Boiled, peeled, and mashed.
  • Potatoes: 2, Boiled, peeled, and mashed.
  • Oil for shallow frying: 2 to 3 Tbsp
  • Red chilli powder: 11/2tsp
  • Cumin seed powder: 1 tsp
  • Chat masala: 1 Tbsp
  • Green chilli : 1 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup finely chopped
  • Amchur Powder:1 tsp
  • Rice Flour: 1 to 2 tbsp as required
  • Salt: As per taste(preferably Black salt)
  • Turmeric Powder:1/2 tsp(optional)
Methods:
  • Boil Potatoes and Banana. Then peel and mashed both nicely.
  • Add all the ingredients except the oil.
  • Mix all the masala with the Potato and Raw Banana mash.
  • The mixture should be soft, not moist.
  • Add Rice flour according to the need.
  • Now make small round Patty and keep aside for 2 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a Frying pan and shallow fry the kababs.
  • Serve it with tomato sauce and Dhania(coriander) chutney.

 Moong Dal With LAU (LAUKI) :YELLOW LENTIL WITH BOTTLE GOURD. A very old and traditional bengali recipe. Mostly prepared during summers , it is said that this dal keeps the body cool and prevents us from heat. This is a very light to stomach recipe with minimum ingrediants. INGREDIANTS:  Moong Dal : 100 gms Bottle gourd :  1 (small) Mustard oil : 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp Dry Red Chilliess : 2  Bay Leaves : 2 Green Chillies(optional) : 2 Coriander Leaves : 2 tbsp Sugar : 1 tsp Salt : According to taste.
