How To Declutter Your Space

HOW TO DECLUTTER YOUR SPACE.

Friends as in my previous blog I explain why it is so important to declutter our space, in this blog I shall try to help you with some tips and tricks to declutter space. As it is our festive time and during Durga Puja or Navaratri and Diwali all of us clean our houses to bring happiness, good luck, and prosperity  . Hope my blog will help you to declutter easily without hassle.
Ma Naina Osho explains why decluttering our minds is of prime importance. “The nature of the mind is such that it clings to things and hoards. It's afraid of any kind of void, hence the misery,” she says. But what we common people fail to understand is that emptiness is not negative. She adds , “In meditation, an empty state of mind (shunyata) is essential. Likewise, when we empty our room, nothing visible is left inside, but something invisible starts filling it a sense of spaciousness.
When we remove everything we’re attached to, the mind
becomes empty but it opens up.

DECLUTTERING BRINGS ABUNDANCE”.

If your house is full of things you haven’t used it for a long time, you certainly, need to clear it as it is junk for your house and you need to get the need for it as soon as possible.

v Fix a time to clean. Just 15 mins a day or larger blocks of time, from 2 to 4 hours a day once or twice a week.
v Use TO DO list or maintain a diary.
v You need to buy big storage trunks, chest of drawers or shelves if u need an extra place to store.
v You need to choose a particular area or space to clean. You must choose an area that bothers you the most.
v Use “FOUR BOX METHOD” to speed up your sorting of clutter. Bring 3 boxes, baskets or buckets, and a large bin and label them  - Put away, Give or sell away, Store and Bin.
v When you are done with your sorting of things from the area you wanted to clean, reserve a few minutes to empty the boxes. Put things immediately to its allotted space where you want to keep it. Give away or sell items should be packed properly and kept in allotted place or give it for charity.
v When you are not able to decide on a few things make a maybe box and keep it away out of your sight and sit with it after six months.
v If your office / workspace is cluttered create electronic copies by scanning them or taking photos into your computer and then throw away those or file the paperwork.
v Try “ One in and one out rule “. When I buy  1 thing, I  make sure to discard  at least  2 things of a similar kind, so my rule is  “One in and  two out .“
v Have to resist the impulse.
v First you have to master your own clutter challenges then involve the rest of the family members.
v Never let your guilt or obligation make you hold on to things.

Let each of your family members organize their own clutter. Everyone will do it in their own ways and according to their own suited way. HAVE PATIENCE, SMILE, AND START CLEANING.
