INSTANT MALPUA: for the festive season

INGREDIENTS:
Maida: 1 cup
Milk Powder: 1/2 cup
Semolina/Suji/Rava: 2tbsp
Fennel/Mouri/Saunf: 1/2 tsp
Milk: 1 cup
Dry fruits chopped(optional)
Oil for frying
For sugar syrup:
Sugar: 1 cup
Water: 1/2 cup
Elaichi/ Cardamom Powder: 1/2 tsp
METHOD:

For sugar syrup:
Sugar: 1 cup
Water: 1/2 cup
Elaichi/ Cardamom Powder: 1/2 tsp
METHOD:
- In a big bowl pour dry ingredients maida, milk powder, suji, and crushed saunf.
- Pour 1 cup milk in the big bowl and mix it well, if required add a little more milk.
- Make a smooth thick yet running consistency batter.
- Rest the batter for about 15 minutes.
- Now heat oil for deep frying.
- Oil should be medium hot.
- Pour the batter with a ladle in the hot oil.
- When one side is properly fried, flip over and cook the other side too.
- Drain the oil properly and dip it in warm sugar syrup which is already made.
- Soak both sides 5 minutes each till it absorbs sugar syrup properly.
- Your instant malpua is ready to serve, sprinkle some chopped dry fruits if u wish to.
