FESTIVE HOME DECORATION

HOME DECORATION:
The festive season is a time when you dress up the most along with the new decoration of your house. To change the look one does not have to invest a lot instead with little innovations and ideas you can do miracles.
First thing first one needs to declutter all the belongings, from dresses to books, rugs to winter clothes, toys, etc, the best way is to donate them who need it, there are several NGOs who take old clothes, toys, books, plates to pots everything. Things extra and unwanted for you may be useful for others, so donate and help.
Next is the main thing to be cleaned is your flooring. when your floor whatever type it is should be sparkling and clean, it makes the place brighter. In my previous blog, I have discussed different kinds of flooring and how to clean it. Please read it again.
After flooring eyes go to the wall. Wall changes the whole perception of a room if it is properly decorated. During festival time, we have several works to do, like lighting the house making sweets etc..Lets make a solution which will help you to remove different stubborn strains. I cup water + I cup Vinegar + 2 to 3 Tb spoon of Baking soda. House with children is sure to have crayon marks it is easy to remove with 2 things Kerosene and toothpaste, just rubbing with any of the suggested things.
Colouring the entire house is not a joke instead we can at least colour one all and make it an Ascent wall. If coloring is not possible you can use wallpaper,
WALLPAPER
Instead of coloring the whole wall u can make stencil colouring, stencils are easily available and it can be done on the existing coloured wall.

There is another easier and cheap solution for wall decoration and that is Stickers. Nowadays beautiful stickers are available.

Changing lights or adding new lights also changes the look of a house. You can use hanging lights, stand lamps or nice table lamps. You can easily use LED light strings too.

An accent wall can be decorated with nice painting, a mirror or some decorative items.

Using greenery is obviously a good idea. A plant inside one home brings positive vibes and freshness. It also makes the environment happy. You can use short or tall according to your space and need. Corners are best for tall plants and shorter ones are for tabletops etc.

Changing upholstery, cushion covers, curtains, bedcovers etc also bring positivity and using bright colour things are best during the festive time to glam up. If you are using plain colour curtains you can use a lot of patterns, floral and bright fabric for your cushion covers, table covers, etc.
Changing furniture is not a possible thing but you can add colourfull covers on them like table cloths or repaint and change the colour to make it new.
keep books on the bookshelves in colour coordinated ways.
You can use small rugs on the floor to enhance the beauty of the home.

Clean your balcony, make a small sitting corner with handing lights or table lamps. Must is planting.

Now comes the toughest part of the house that is the kitchen:
During the festive time and always the kitchen should be clutter-free and deep cleaned regularly so you can relax and spend less time cleaning. All unused and unwanted things should be donated or thrown away. The kitchen mats can be changed. Towels, containers can be changed. Add plants, fresh flowers. It adds colour to the kitchen.

with coloured chairs and flowers and plants.
The bathroom also needs to be taken care of by deep cleaning and adding colour beautifies the bathroom too. Must use bathroom fresheners along with fresh flowers.

Donating Old,  used things also brings happiness, giving away is the best thing to do.
If you clean the whole house every day and once a week deep clean then you can relax during festive time and won't have to rush and get tired before the festival comes.
Whatever I said might help you all my friends. Hopefully, these few changes will help you. Whatever way you decorate your house it should reflect your personality and your taste.
