Mushroom is a beautiful round umbrella-shaped pretty looking fungi. It really looks different and unique. It's a long time that mushroom has invaded the Indian kitchen. I t is not only tasty it has a lot of nutrition. Mushroom has calcium, phosphorus, protein, vitamin D, vitamin C, vitamin B, minerals, amino acid, anti-microbial and antioxidants, and many other important nutrients. That is why eating mushrooms does not only satisfy your taste buds also helps to be healthy. Mushroom controls one's sugar level and blood pressure too as it has a huge amount of potassium. It has an amount of iron which helps to cure anemia. It is full of eritadenine, lovastatin, which helps to lower cholesterol. Mushroom contains antioxidants such as polyphenol and selenium which helps humans to avoid strokes, nerve-related diseases and also cancer such as breast and prostate cancer. It has high iron thus increases the strength of bones and prevents arthritis. To get beautiful, soft and satin skin one needs to eat mushroom daily. It contains enzymes that help intestinal bacterias to work better and thus helps indigestion. It can also help a bit in age-related ailments such as Alzheimer's. Regular use of mushrooms helps hepatitis B and jaundice. It has anti-allergic properties too. It help in kidney-related problems. If one drinks mushroom boiled water with salt can get rid of cough. Due to busy and hectic lifestyle many suffer from constipation, can be avoided if the mushroom is in their diet in abundance.

BANANA BREAD BANANA BREAD PREP TIME: 10 mins COOK TIME: 30 to 40 minutes SERVINGS: 8 TO 10 INGREDIENTS: Flour: 11/2 cups or 180 GMS Bananas:2(ripe) Butter: 1/3 cup or 75gms Sugar: 3/4 cup Eggs: 1 (beaten) Baking soda: 1tsp Salt :1pinch cinnamon: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract:1tsp METHOD Sieve together flour, cinnamon.salt and baking soda, and keep aside. Grease a loaf tin or pan with butter Beat the egg and keep aside. Preheat oven to 100 degrees centigrade for at least 15 mins. Mash the bananas well with masher or puree it. Add sugar and vanilla essence and mix well, till the sugar gets dissolved. Add butter and beaten egg and mix it well Now mix together flour with the wet ingredients slowly in small parts.  Moong Dal With LAU (LAUKI) :YELLOW LENTIL WITH BOTTLE GOURD. A very old and traditional bengali recipe. Mostly prepared during summers , it is said that this dal keeps the body cool and prevents us from heat. This is a very light to stomach recipe with minimum ingrediants. INGREDIANTS:  Moong Dal : 100 gms Bottle gourd :  1 (small) Mustard oil : 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp Dry Red Chilliess : 2  Bay Leaves : 2 Green Chillies(optional) : 2 Coriander Leaves : 2 tbsp Sugar : 1 tsp Salt : According to taste. METHOD :  Fry the dal or lentil slightly and then boil it in a kadai till it is cooked properly or you can pressure cook it as I do it to reduce the. cooking time and save gas too.
