 Everything is available in this world at a click of a button on our mobile, be it grocery, clothing, food, furniture etc.Impulse buying is a common behaviourial problem these days. Resisting the craving of impulse shopping is difficult but not impossible. I too am fighting the same battle as many of you who are struggling with the habit of unnecessary buying. Hankering or impulse buying is related to unhappiness and anxiety, and controlling this would improve our psychological health. I shall share few tips which I adopted to come out of this web of impulse buying. We need to understand What motivates us to buy any object? Question your shopping with logic . Do you really need it? We need to understand the need and want of that particular object we wish to buy. SPICY CRISPY CHICKEN WINGS IN AIRFRYER : INGREDIENTS : Chicken wings: 1 kg ( 8 to 10 pcs) Garlic: 2 Tbsp (finely chopped) Lemon: 1 (juice) Black Pepper: 2 Tbsp Red chilli powder: 1 Tsp Red Chilli sauce: 1 Tbsp Tomato sauce: 2 Tbsp Soya sauce: 1 Tsp + 1Tbsp Salt: According to taste (here little less as we will use soya sauce in the recipe which is itself little salty) Olive oil: 1 Tbsp Sugar or Honey: 1 Tsp Cornflour: 3 Tbsp METHOD: First, we will prepare a marinade for the chicken wings, for this, we will add half lemon juice, soya sauce(1Tbsp)salt, black pepper powder and chopped garlic and marinate for about 2 hours. Now preheat the air fryer at 180 degrees for 3 minutes, meanwhile sprinkle flour to the marinade and coat the wing with flour properly. ORANGE CAKE IN PRESSURE COOKER

 ORANGE CAKE Ingredients: Flour: 1 and 1/4th cup Orange: 1 medium size / 1/4th cup juice Baking powder: 1 Teaspoon Baking soda: 1/4th Teaspoon Milk: 1/4th cup (approx) Powdered Sugar: 1/2 cup Refined oil: 1/4th cup Milk Powder: 1/4th cup Orange zest: 1 Tablespoon Method:  First mix all the dry ingredients like flour, Milk powder, Baking powder, baking soda and Powdered sugar in a big mixing bowl. Now mix the wet ingredients that are,  Orange juice, refined oil and mix it well. Will add milk later. Now pour the wet ingredient mixture to the big mixing bowl with dry ingredients. Mix it nicely and slowly add the milk and mix it to a dripping texture. Grease a 1 pound cake mould and pour the mixture in it meantime you have to put a pressure cooker on the gas oven. Heat the cooker for abt 5 minutes on high flame with the jail or stand in it. Now after 5 minutes put the cake mould inside the cooker and the slow the flame and close the cooker with the lid without the whistle or the weight on

On 18th October 2020 competition was held in our complex from Nestle as a pre-Durga puja celebration event. It was said we have to use Milkmaid a Nestle product as the main ingredient. Many entrees were there and all gave their 100% to win the competition. As there was no age bar so from 18 to 80 all participated in the event the only condition was that whatever we made it should be innovative and original. I made this dessert named Nestle delight and won the 2nd prize. KOSHA MANGSHO(MUTTON KOSHA)

Mangsho actually means Mutton (Goat meat) and Kosha means Bhuna or gravy which is thoroughly fried in a low flame. Kosha Mangsho or Mutton kosha has a thick gravy and is a little spicy. It is an iconic dish for the Bengalees. It can be served with anything from plain steamed rice. pulao to Pulkas and Parathas. This is my version of Kosha Mangsho and I can assure you that it will taste very good .
