INSTANT MALPUA: for the festive season PREP TIME:20 MINUTES COOK TIME: 12 MINS SERVES: 10 INGREDIENTS: Maida: 1 cup Milk Powder: 1/2 cup Semolina/Suji/Rava: 2tbsp Fennel/Mouri/Saunf: 1/2 tsp Milk: 1 cup Dry fruits chopped(optional) Oil for frying For sugar syrup: Sugar: 1 cup Water: 1/2 cup Elaichi/ Cardamom Powder: 1/2 tsp METHOD: In a big bowl pour dry ingredients maida, milk powder, suji, and crushed saunf. Pour 1 cup milk in the big bowl and mix it well, if required add a little more milk. Make a smooth thick yet running consistency batter. Rest the batter for about 15 minutes. Now heat oil for deep frying. Oil should be medium hot. Pour the batter with a ladle in the hot oil. When one side is properly fried, flip over and cook the other side too.
