WELLNESS -Indigestion & Heartburn

FIGHT AGAINST HEARTBURN AND INDIGESTION: Most of us once in a while suffer indigestion and heart-burn feelings. CHICKEN ROAST

ROASTED CHICKEN WITH APPLES & POTATOES : PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES ROASTING: 1 HOUR(APPROX) SERVES: 8 INGREDIENTS: Chicken:11/2 kg (boneless or with bone as you prefer, skinless)cut into big pieces. Butter : 3 Tbsp (softened) Coriander leaves: 2 to 3 Tbsp (chopped) Onion: 1large(chopped or finely sliced) Apples:3 to 4 medium sizes (750gm), cored and cut into 8 wedges. Baby Potatoes: 10 to 12(750 gms), cut into half. Lemon juice: 2 tsp Salt and Pepper as per taste. METHOD: Preheat oven to 230 degrees. In a bowl take 1 Tbsp butter, 1Tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 2 tsp of lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp of coarsely ground pepper. Mix all ingredients well. Now pour this mixture over the chicken and rub it nicely.  In a baking pan, melt the remaining butter in the oven. CARE FOR YOUR LIPS: Since winter is approaching we need to take a little more care of our lips. We must care for our lips the whole year as it increases the face value. FOUR GOLDEN RULES TO BE FOLLOWED: DRINK ENOUGH WATER. NO LICKING OR BITTING. CLEANSE, EXFOLIATE, AND MOISTURIZE. CHANGE YOUR LIPSTICK. CLEANSING: Take any make-up remover and remove the lip colour then clean it thoroughly with any cleanser. EXFOLIATE:   Take a little petroleum jelly(any brand)and a pinch of sugar on a dry and clean soft-bristled toothbrush, now gently brush your lips for a few seconds. Then wipe it with a soft towel or tissue. CONDITION: Put a thick layer of lip balm, preferably Beeswax or glycerine mixed with vitamin C and E  in your lips. Lemon juice will provide Vitamin C and Evion 200 for Vitamin E. LIPSTICKS: Alternate lipsticks from time to time. using one kind of lipstick may cause harm especially the matte ones. BENGALI DESSERT

SANDESH: SANDESH Bengali dessert (mishti) is incomplete without a Sandesh. It is easy to make at home and almost every Bengalee knows to make it. Since its main ingredient is fresh paneer it needs to be consumed quickly as it tends to get spoiled. A mold is used to make a different pattern. Mishti Doi(sweet curd) and Sandesh is the most famous dessert among other Bengali desserts known to the world. Prep time:15 minutes. Cook time: 10 minutes Serves: 10 to 12  INGREDIENTS: Fresh Paneer/Chana: 400 gms Almonds: 12 cuts in slices Saffron strands: 4 Milk(warm): 1Tbsp(to soak saffron) Powdered Sugar: 1/2 cup Milk Powder: 2 tsp Pistachio essence: 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder: 1/2 tsp Ghee: 1Tbsp METHOD: Soak almonds, saffron, pistachio essence in warm milk.
